Jenelle Evans may be set on getting a divorce, but her estranged husband Courtland Rogers is determined to win her back. Speaking to RadarOnline.com, Rogers says he “loves her too much” to ever file for divorce.
“I would never be the first to say that I want a divorce! If she wants a divorce then she can divorce me! I love her too much!” he says. “Superman dies in the end but I’m going to die proving my love for her!”
Rogers is also not turned off by Evans filing five assault charges against him. The 21-year-old filed the charges last Wednesday. According to Evans’ attorney Dustin Sullivan, Rogers physically abused the Teen Mom 2 star “over a period of time.”
“The charges are assault on a female with an unborn child. She made the charges today,” Sullivan told E! News yesterday.
Evans was about 2 months pregnant at the time she filed the charges. She suffered a miscarriage just two days later. If convicted, Rogers could receive a maximum of 150 days in jail for each charge. He tells Radar that he plans to turn himself into the police today.
Evans has not commented. She wed Rogers in North Carolina on December 4 after just 3 months of dating.
