The St. Joe Company (NYSE: JOE) has appointed Kevin Johnson as Vice President, Economic Development. Johnson will be focused on driving economic growth to the West Bay Sector adjacent to the new international airport. Mr. Johnson will also create national and international exposure for JOE’s projects at West Bay. The planning framework is in place for about 75,000 acres, which includes the airport. About 41,000 acres has been preserved forever through the establishment of the West Bay Preservation Area.
