TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: AMTD) said Monday it has named David Kimm chief risk officer, starting in October, according to Associated Press.

Kimm recently served as senior vice president and chief risk officer at financial services firm Wells Fargo Advisors, a unit of Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC).
At TD Ameritrade, he will help identify and manage the company's credit, market and operational risks, and oversee regulatory compliance and audits.
Shares fell 32 cents to $19.82 in after-hours trading when the personnel move was announced. In the regular session, the stock rose 68 cents, or 3.5 percent, to close at $20.14.
