NBA Scores from Feb. 1; Dwyane Wade and Amare Stoudemire lead their teams to wins

Dwyane Wade scored 41 points, more than half of them coming on free-throws, and the Miami Heat (21-25) beat the Cleveland Cavaliers (26-20) 92.89. Wade went to the line 24 times and sank 23 of his attempts while the Cleveland attempted 24 shots from the free-throw line as a team. Shaquille O’Neal scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds while Antonio Walker pulled down 10 boards of his own for the Heat. LeBron James finished with 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists for Cleveland.

Amare Stoudemire scored 23 points and grabbed 24 rebounds while Steve Nash scored 13 points and dished out 11 assists as the Phoenix Suns (37-9) beat the San Antonio Spurs (32-16) 103-87. The Spurs held a 3 point lead going into halftime but scored just 34 points in the second half as the Suns defense clamped down on San Antonio. Leandro Barbosa added 25 points and Shawn Marion finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Suns. Tim Duncan scored 20 points and pulled down 18 rebounds in the Spurs loss.
