Lindsay Lohan Drops Movie Role

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly backed out of her role in the upcoming film “A Woman of No Importance.”

The 20-year-old Lohan, who has spent the past few weeks attending the Wonderland rehab clinic in Los Angeles, stepped away fro the film in an effort to concentrate on her health.

Having recently completed filming for the movie “Georgia Rule” starring Jane Fonda and Dermont Mulroney, Lohan is still shooting scenes for “I Know Who Killed Me.”  The actress checked herself into rehab on January 18.

Lohan has starred in several blockbuster films, including “Freaky Friday” and “Mean Girls.” She received strong reviews for her role in “Bobby,” a film concentrating on the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.

According to her publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, Lohan’s decision to step away from “A Woman of No Importance” was the right thing to do, “"She doesn't want to just yes everyone and compromise herself anymore, if anything has been learned, it's that what she needs comes first – and right now she needs focus."
