Iran Agrees to Allow UN Inspectors to Visit Second Uranium-Enrichment Facility

Iran has said they will allow UN inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency to visit their second uranium-enrichment facility near Qom.

Tehran said they would invite the inspectors “in the next couple of weeks.”

Prior to the announcement Iran had been involved in talks in Geneva concerning their nuclear program. Those talks involved the United States, one of many countries that have accused Iran of attempting to develop nuclear weapons, something the government has denied on a number of occasions.
