Alexandra Burke performed a sexy dance for a rapper at the MOBO Awards.

The 'Hallelujah' singer was spotted getting up close and personal with British star Master Shortie at the Glasgow ceremony - which recognises Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) - on Wednesday (30.09.09).

A source said: "The pair were getting on like a house on fire and were laughing and joking with each other.

"Once Tinchy Stryder's song 'Never Leave You' came on, Alex was the first to pull Master Shortie up to dance and they were grinding together in front of everyone."

Later in the evening, the pair were seen discussing which food to eat as they perused the snacks on offer in the VIP area.

Alexandra, 21, was also seen giving the 20-year-old musician her phone number.

When asked what he thought of Alexandra, Master Shortie replied: "She's really nice."

Alexandra shot to fame after winning the 2008 series of UK TV talent show 'The X Factor'.

Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole was her mentor, and the pair are set to battle it out in the UK singles charts later this month with Alexandra's 'Bad Boys' being released just one week before Cheryl's solo offering 'Fight For This Love'.

Alexandra said: "We were on the phone last night, and I was busting moves to her song. Cheryl said, 'Oh my God, your song's so catchy. I've been bopping to the moves.' "
