Bombardier Receives an Order for Two Q400 NextGen airliners from Air Niugini

Bombardier, Inc. (TSE: BBD.A) has received an order for two Q400 NextGen high-speed turboprop airliners from Air Niugini. Air Niugini is the national airline of Papua New Guinea. The order was worth about $60 million. The option for an additional Q400 NextGen airliner was taken. The company reports that they have recorded 363 orders for the Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft and that as of July 31, 2009, 257 have been delivered to customers.
