Big Ten College Football Schedule Saturday: Michigan Wolverines, Iowa Hawkeyes, Wisconsin Badgers Put Perfect Record on the Line

The Big Ten conference still features three schools with perfect records and all three will be in action on Saturday and by the end of the day all three could remain undefeated. The #22 Michigan Wolverines, #13 Iowa Hawkeyes and Wisconsin Badgers have all managed to start 4-0 but each has been overshadowed by the once-beaten #15 Penn State Nittany Lions and #9 Ohio State Buckeyes.

Michigan will be tested this weekend when they travel to take on in-state rival Michigan State and while the Wolverines are 4-0 on the year the 1-3 Spartans won’t be intimidated.

The Wisconsin Badgers are sitting at 4-0 on the year but they lack the big win to grab them any real attention. That could change on Saturday if they can go into Minnesota and knock off the 3-1 Gophers. Wisconsin really needs this win with Ohio State and Iowa coming up.

In a battle of mediocrity the 1-3 Purdue Boilermakers will be hosting the 2-2 Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday. Purdue nearly knocked off Notre Dame last week while Northwestern fell to Minnesota in their Big Ten opener.

The #13 Iowa Hawkeyes have jumped to a 4-0 record and are coming off a huge upset over Penn State last week and shouldn’t have any trouble putting away Arkansas State on Saturday.

That same #15 Penn State Nittany Lions (3-1) team will be looking to rebound on Saturday when they take on the 1-2 Illinois Fighting Illini. Illinois is coming off a shutout loss to Ohio State and that could easily happen again on Saturday.

The #9 Ohio State Buckeyes, sitting at 3-1 on the year, are still undefeated in the Big Ten and have a shot at a Rose Bowl bid if they continue to play the way they did last week. They blasted Illinois 30-0 but could find things decidedly different when they face the 3-1 Indiana Hoosiers who nearly upset Michigan last week.
