Hallmark Cards Inc. says it will eliminate another 225 to 250 jobs across the country by the end of the year.

Hallmark spokeswoman Julie O'Dell said Friday that some of the jobs will be cut through attrition but other reductions will based on the company's planned reorganization of its U.S. operations.
The job cuts announced Thursday are in addition to the 550 to 750 reductions the company announced in April.
O'Dell says the latest job reductions will occur across the company's U.S. operations. The exact jobs to be eliminated have not yet been determined.
Hallmark employs 8,500 people nationally and 3,900 in Kansas City.
