General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems Awarded Contract from Navy for Production and Deployed Systems Support

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business unit, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems has received a contract from the U.S. Navy for production and deployed systems support for the U.S. and U.K. SSBN fire control system (FCS) and the SSGN attack weapon control system (AWCS). The contract was for $152.8 million.

General Dynamics will support equipment and SSP alterations necessary to sustain the fire control and attack weapon control systems. Engineering support, logistics, engineering services, performance evaluation, fleet documentation and reliability maintenance are all included under the contract.
