NFL News: Washington Redskins Running Back Clinton Portis will be Game-Time Decision

Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis will be a game-time decision on Sunday when the team hosts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Portis has been slowed by bone spurs in both ankles and in last week’s loss to the Detroit Lions he suffered a bruised calf after being kicked. Coach Jim Zorn said he would determine whether or not Portis would play just prior to kickoff.

At 1-2 the Redskins are one of the most disappointing teams of the early season and after losing to a Lions franchise that had dropped 19 straight Washington can’t afford to fall to the 0-3 Bucs.
