Angelina Jolie has her Eyes Set on Becoming Newest Bond
Word has surfaced that Angelina Jolie has expressed an interest in becoming the first female Bond. With film credits that include Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Tomb Raider under her belt there is little doubt that the 31-year-old mother of three has the ability to pull of an action flick but is the world ready for Jane Bond?
Jolie was in the running for a spot in the latest installment of the James Bond series, Casino Royale, but her pregnancy with daughter Shiloh Nouvel prevented her from pursuing the role.
Nonetheless Jolie has said ““I’d love to be a Bond villain or the first female Bond,” a statement that could attract a brand new fan base to the universally popular undercover agent franchise that is Bond.
Angelina Jolie has some experience with agent 007, she worked with the star of Casino Royale, Daniel Craig, while filming Tomb Raider.
Jolie just recently finished filming “A Mighty Heart” and “Beowulf” while “Kung Fu Panda” is currently being filmed. Jolie, along with her partner Brad Pitt have three children and are now living in New Orleans.
