AOL, Inc. (NYSE:AOL) trended higher after RBC Capital analyst Mark Mahaney raised its rating on the stock to Outperform from Sector Perform, and also lifted PT to $45 from $40. Mahaney cites that the company’s quarterly report was better than projected, with the first year-over-year revenue growth in eight years.

The New York Internet firm finished the fourth quarter with a revenue growth of 4 percent to about $600 million. That surpasses analysts' estimates of $573.7 million, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S. Profit advanced to $35.7 million or 41 cents per share, in the fourth quarter as compared to $22.8 million or 23 cents per share in the same period a year earlier. Earnings per share met Wall Street view.

AOL, Inc. (NYSE:AOL) moved up +7.44% and closed at $36.23 in the last trading session with the total traded volume of 7.46 million shares. That’s more than the average volume of 1.27 million. AOL is now trading above its 50 day moving average of 18.09% and 200 day moving average of 9.48%. It has outstanding shares of 83.70 million with the total market cap of $30.03 billion.

Genworth Financial Inc (NYSE:GNW) shares made a strong move on Monday after two Private equity firms namely Genstar Capital and Aquiline Private Equity LLC joined forces and were reportedly in exclusive talks to jointly acquire the firm's wealth management business and its San Francisco-based alternative investment business.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc, is providing assistance to Genworth (GNW) is working with Goldman Sachs Group Inc, according to the anonymous sources, who were not identified by Reuters because the negotiations are secret. On the other side, Deutsche Bank AG has been hired by Genstar and Aquiline. The report predicts that the deal for both businesses would have worth in a range of $400 million to $450 million.

Genworth Financial Inc (NYSE:GNW) increased 2.61% to close at $9.03 and its total volume in the last trading session was 8.98 million shares. In last 52 weeks, high hit was $9.68 and low price in that period was $4.06. The company has outstanding shares of 492.00 million with the total market cap of $4.44 billion.
