Professor B. Pitchumani and Dr. R. Pitchumani are the instructors for the course. Professor B. Pitchumani is head of the Particle Science and Technology Laboratory in Chemical Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India. Dr. R. Pitchumani is a post doctoral research fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas, USA.

Testing of fabric filter

Testing of paper filter

Testing of filter for dust retention

Effect of nano fibers on filter performance

Filtration of ultra fine particles

Test methods for reverse pulse jet cleaning

Evaluation of bag house for performance

Following the AFS short courses is the AFS 20^th Annual Conference that consists of dozens of technical presentations on filtration and separation. The conference runs March 27-29. The event is co-located with the WQA Aquatech 2007 exhibit that runs March 28-30.
