Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) retreated limited gains in the New Year yesterday, losing about 12%, or 43 cents, to $3.24 a share. No specific reason for the fall appeared except profit-taking. The trading volume was three times more as compared to usual. The two social gaming execs COO David Ko and CFO Mark Vranesh were interviewed by Goldman Internet analyst Heath Terry at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference, where they mostly repeated the company’s fourth-quarter results.

Some of the important things of their discussion included they have 72 million active users on the Internet, which provides them an opportunity for expanding to mobile. Vranesh said that any real difference between the way they monetize games on mobile or on the Web does not exists anymore.

Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) declined 11.69% with the closing price of $3.24. The overall volume in the last trading session was 90.50 million shares. Its fifty two week range was $2.09-$15.91. The total market capitalization remained $2.54 billion.

Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT) was unable to trade above the trend line on Tuesday after reporting that its fourth-quarter net loss of $56 million or $0.26 per share was down as compared to $163 million or $0.80 per share in the corresponding period of last year.

For the fourth-quarter of 2012, the net loss was $0.16 per share before a loss on the extinguishment of debt of $0.23 per share and a benefit from special items of $0.13 per share. Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters predicted to see a loss of $0.18 per share for the quarter. The company generated total revenue of $1.614 billion for the quarter ended Dec. 31, higher versus $1.579 billion for the fourth quarter 2011. Thirteen analysts had mean revenue forecast of $1.61 billion.

Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NYSE:LVLT) decreased -13.58% to close at $21.31 in the last trading session and its total traded volume was 10.16 million shares, beating the average volume of 1.47 million. The company has market cap of $4.64 billion.

Yelp Inc (NYSE:YELP) moved up 0.14% and closed at $21.66 in the last trading session with the total traded volume of 1.62 million shares. That’s more than the average volume of 1.20 million. YELP is now trading above its 50 day moving average of 7.94% and 200 day moving average of 0.53%. It has outstanding shares of 63.30 million with the total market cap of $1.37 billion.

OpenTable Inc (NASDAQ:OPEN) gained 4.75% to close at $54.74 and its overall volume in the last trading session was 1.16 million shares, beating the average volume of 594,455. OPEN hit the day high price of $55.42 and day low of $51.59.

The stock is trading with positive year-to-date performance of +12.17%. It has current ratio of 2.84. The company has total market cap of $1.24 billion.
