Steve Martin is reportedly a dad! The 67-year-old actor is said to have secretly welcomed his first child with wife Anne Stringfield in December. No details on their little one, including the gender, were available.
“They’ve had a baby, and how they kept it a secret nobody knows…Steve’s very private,” a source tells The New York Post’s Page Six.
The insider says Martin and Stringfield, 41, “worked hard to have the baby.” “They are thrilled,” adds the source.
Martin has not commented. The It’s Complicated star wed Stringfield, a writer and former editor, in July 2007. It is his second marriage. He ended his 8 year marriage to actress Victoria Tennant in 1994.
In other celebrity baby news, Alex Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas have confirmed they are expecting their first child together. The couple made the announcement this week on Extra.
“We're having a baby! It was a surprise, a wonderful surprise," said Thomas, who works as a Special Correspondent for Extra.
“Now, I’m showing, it’s getting to be much more, like ‘OMG this is actually going to happen!’ Now we can start the nursery, the everything, the dreaming,” she said.
Baldwin and Thomas wed last June. The baby is due this summer.
