NBA Scores from Feb. 5; Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Amare Stoudemire, and Tracy McGrady lead their teams to wins.

Kobe Bryant scored 27 points while Lamar Odom finished with 18 rebounds and 15 points as the Los Angeles Lakers (30-19) beat the Atlanta Hawks (18-29) 90-83. Andrew Bynum added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers. Joe Johnson led the Hawks with 27 points.

Stephen Jackson scored 36 points and Al Harrington added 16 points and 10 rebounds in their first game against their former team as the Golden State Warriors (23-26) beat the Indiana Pacers (26-22) 113-98. Monta Ellis finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds while Andris Biedrins grabbed 15 boards to give the Warriors a 57-42 advantage on the glass. Jermaine O’Neal led the Pacers with 24 points and 11 rebounds.

The Philadelphia 76ers (16-33) handed the New Jersey Nets (22-27) their second consecutive overtime loss 100-98. Andre Iguodala finished with 23 points, 15 assists, and 7 rebounds while Samuel Dalembert scored 14 points and grabbed 17 boards for the 76ers. Vince Carter finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds for the Nets.

Caron Butler scored 38 points to cover for a poor shooting night from Gilbert Arenas and the Washington Wizards (28-19) beat the Seattle Supersonics (17-31) 118-108. Arenas shot just 4-14 from the field but Brendan Haywood helped out with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Ray Allen had 29 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists for the Sonics.

Dwyane Wade scored 27 points and handed out 12 assists while Shaquille O’Neal finished with 22 points in 21 minutes as the Miami Heat (23-25) beat the Charlotte Bobcats (18-30) 113-93. The Heat built an 18 point lead at the half and cruised through the second half for the win. Raymond Felton led the Bobcats with 20 points.

The Houston Rockets (30-17) held the Minnesota Timberwolves (22-26) to just 30 points in the first half and went on to win 105-77. Tracy McGrady scored 32 points for the Rockets and Juwan Howard added 20 points and 8 rebounds in the win. The Rockets committed just 6 turnovers compared to the 17 committed by the Wolves. Kevin Garnett led Minnesota with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Amare Stoudemire scored 36 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Shawn Marion added 19 points and 9 rebounds as the Phoenix Suns (38-10) beat the Denver Nuggets (23-23) 113-108. Steve Nash finished with 9 points and 7 assists but left the game in the first half. Carmelo Anthony finished with a triple-double for the Nuggets with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Mehmet Okur scored 20 points and Deron Williams finished with 18 points and 13 assists as the Utah Jazz (32-17) beat the Chicago Bulls (28-21) 100-95. The Jazz shot 50 percent from the floor and managed to win despite shooting just 64 percent from the free-throw line. Kirk Hinrich led the Bulls with 26 points.

Ron Artest scored 21 points and had 9 assists as the Sacramento Kings (20-26) beat the NO/Oklahoma City Hornets (21-27) 105-99. The Kings had six players score in double figures and shot 52 percent from the floor. Chris Paul led tehHornets with 24 points and 6 assists in the loss.
