NHL Scores from Feb. 5; Detroit Red Wings Beat New York Rangers 4-3 in Lone Game on Monday Night
The Detroit Red Wings (34-14-6) scored 3 goals in the third period to knock off the New York Rangers (25-24-4) 4-3. Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk each had a goal and an assist for the Red Wings while Jiri Hudler and Robert Lang added goals in the win.
New York jumped to a 3-1 lead in the first period with goals from Brendan Shanahan, Michael Nylander, and Marcel Hossa but Henrik Lundqvist allowed three of the twelve shots he faced in the third period get passed him.
