Car Bomb Kills Nine at Iraqi Market

A car bomb detonated at a market near the Iraqi city of Falluja has killed at least nine people and left dozens more injured.

According to reports the parked car had been packed with explosives when it ripped through market around sunset.

At one time Falluja was considered a stronghold for al-Qaeda insurgents but it has since been stabilized by Iraqi and U.S. forces.
