TouchSystems introduces InspiraTouch, its new line of interactive touch tables. The tables are designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and interaction by way of the multiple user interface.
Carol Nordin, president of TouchSystems, says, “I’m excited about our new tables and touch software offerings. InspiraTouch definitely has a place in education, hospitality, entertainment, and corporate environments. It will be fascinating to see the creative ways our customers will engage with InspiraTouch.”
InspiraTouch consists of two solutions: InspiraTable and InspiraPoint. InspiraTable includes the touch table, i.e., the display and the enclosure. InspiraPoint includes not only the touch table but also multi-touch software and an optional PC for a complete multi-touch solution. Product offerings in both categories include a 42-inch and a 55-inch touch table. Additional sizes may be added in the future.
The touch tables are integrated with an infrared multi-touch technology that allows up to forty touch points. The tables also boast advanced anti-image sticking technology that eliminates ghosting and SmartPower, an energy-saving feature that can cut energy costs by up to fifty percent, thereby reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
