Close-Up Talk Radio Spotlights Daniel O. Abreo
Richmond Heights, OH – So often we take for granted all that we have in our lives. From personal successes to opportunities, personal freedoms to the relationships that we forge with others: Many people simply don’t take the time to stop and appreciate the positivity of life, especially when times get hard. When in need of inspiration and motivation there is speaker and author, Daniel O. Abreo.
Daniel is a true success story on many levels. Born in Uruguay, Daniel came to America to be with his childhood sweetheart in 1979. With this sweetheart, he recently celebrated his 33rd wedding anniversary, which is no small feat in this day and age of divorce.
Daniel came to America with a strong work ethic and a desire to achieve his own American dream. His journey in personal growth and self-help began over 30 years ago while working at a company in sales. Shortly after becoming an electrician, Daniel received training in self-improvement from Dale Carnegie and gained vast experience in public speaking with Toastmasters International, where he also developed his speaking skills.
“Two of the most important things I learned early on is that in order to be successful here you need to speak the language and you need to know people. I came to America without either of those. I read countless self-help books and listened to many audiotapes. I knew to work hard to achieve what I wanted out of life,” exclaims Abreo.
Through diligence and perseverance, Daniel overcame these obstacles, learned to speak English, and built a name for himself as a successful motivational speaker. An active member of the National Speakers Association, Daniel has spoken at over 800 events of all shapes and sizes including a crowd of 10,000 and two speaking engagements at the Quicken Loans Arena.
“At my speaking engagements, I try to stress the importance of being positive and staying away from negativity. It damages our physical, mental, and spiritual health. Speaking and working with people is such a tremendous confidence boost for me. The greatest gift I receive is hearing people tell me that I showed them ways to help themselves and improve their lives.”
“When I’m not speaking I work in construction as an electrician but I was thinking of ways to be able to help people full-time. While praying one night, I heard a voice telling me to write a book.”
After a year of editing, Daniel released Honey, If You Leave Me, I Am Going with You: 10 Points to Create and Maintain a Healthy Marriage. Available at www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, and his site www.bhappymarried.com, this debut work released in 2012 addresses many issues that arise in married couples. Along with providing his own tale of personal marriage success and offering a variety of tips for maintaining a strong marriage, Daniel also delivers his message of strengthening personal health in the physical, mental, and spiritual sense.
