Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: EPL) and Prize Mining Ltd. (TSX-V: PRZ) have announced the pouring of the first gold bar from concentrate materials milled on site. Mining and milling for the 2009 season is complete and the company has begun clean up and maintenance. The project is operated through the Yellowjacket Joint-Venture, which is owned by Eagle Plains and Prize Mining with Eagle Plains (TSX-V: PRZ) being the operator.

The Yellowjacket Project received a Small Mines Act Permit in July, 2009 for the production of gold from the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources. The Permit allows the company to operate an open pit gold mine and onsite concentrator.
