After sitting out the last three weeks due to a broken rib Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb will return to the starting lineup on Sunday when the team takes on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
McNabb fractured the rib in the Eagles opening game win over the Carolina Panthers and was forced to sit out the next two games as Kevin Kolb took over the starting role while Michael Vick was elevated to backup.
The Eagles posted a 1-1 mark in McNabb’s absence and had their bye-week on Sunday. McNabb was back at practice on Wednesday and told reporters he would be ready to start against Tampa Bay but would likely wear a protective jacket in the game.
