A Survivor wedding is in the works! Survivor: South Pacific co-stars Whitney Duncan and Keith Tollefson are engaged to be married. Tollefson popped the question with a diamond encrusted band. Duncan, a country singer who competed on Nashville Star, showed off the ring on Facebook. "He did good," she wrote along with a picture.
Tollefson confirmed the proposal on Twitter. "Thanks to everyone for the best wishes on mine and @whitneyduncan's engagement," he wrote. "I know real original proposing on Valentines day ha."
Duncan, 28, had been secretly married to KingBilly lead singer Donny Fallgatter for nearly a year when she met Tollefson, 27, on Survivor in the summer of 2011. An insider previously told People magazine that Duncan and Fallgatter’s friends and family didn’t even know about their marriage. After Duncan fell for Tollefson, she ended her marriage to Fallgatter. Their divorce was finalized in November 2011.
Duncan addressed her first marriage on Twitter this week. "Hey kids, don't ever elope w someone u hardly know. Not a good idea! U might meet your soulmate. & No one ever lets the past be the past,” she wrote.
Tollefson and Duncan’s engagement comes days after Survivor couple Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca announced they have ended their 10 year relationship.
