Janet Jackson has been secretly married since late last year! The 46-year-old singer, who was previously married to James DeBarge and René Elizondo Jr., tied the knot with boyfriend Wissam Al Mana in a “quiet” ceremony.
"The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private and beautiful ceremony," the couple tells Entertainment Tonight. "Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children's charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy."
No other details were immediately available.
Mana, 37, is a businessman from Qatar. He reportedly proposed sometime last December.
In other celebrity wedding news, actress Christina Applegate quiet wed Porno for Pyros bassist Martyn LeNoble over the weekend. The couple got engaged in February 2010 after 2 years of dating. They have a 2-year-old daughter together named Sadie Grace.
