Every year, PostcardMania sends out a one-of-a-kind Holiday gift to their clients, business friends, partners and associates. This year, PostcardMania is bringing their own version of ‘sexy’ back with an unconventional flare.
For last year’s gift, PostcardMania CEO, Joy Gendusa decided to have an art contest open to all her PostcardMania customers, prospects and staff. The art was blind judged and 12 pieces were chosen for a 2009 calendar. The calendar turned out to be a hit and was greatly appreciated by all who received them. Last year’s gift sparked the idea for a 2010 calendar with a much different flavor.
PostcardMania is well-known as a woman-owned/woman-run business, boasting 60% female staff. The 2010 calendar will feature hard working, successful, beautiful PostcardMania women performing the usual day-to-day activities such as running the printing presses, driving the forklift, loading the addressing machine and many other functions. Similar to last year, the judging process was a blind one, ensuring no one personally knew the girls in order to keep it unbiased.
Joy explained “I’ve been asked to do this for a long time – I mean it truly comes up all the time! It’s not going to be tawdry in any way – mostly fun but sexy too – in a clean way – we sure do have a lot of beautiful women that work here”
PostcardMania is working with top professionals like photographer, Brad Kugler, makeup artist, Melissa Nicole Gervasi and hair stylists Brittain Magness and La Bella Hair Studio owner, Nicole Festa.
Customers, prospects, fans, followers and the like can visit the PostcardMania Flickr page to view all the contestants from the blind judging process. PostcardMania will also be creating and posting videos from the all day calendar photo shoot and posting them onto YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets.
