Gardner Village Announces Recently Remodeled The Gathering Place for Meetings, Weddings, and Special Events

With a focus on creating an exciting, memorable, and luxurious experience for clients hosting special events, Gardner Village, home of Archibald’s Restaurant in the converted flour mill that was originally located on the property, has recently remodeled their state-of-the-art banquet hall in Salt Lake City, Utah, The Gathering Place. 

Open Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays), The Gathering Place features 8,000 square feet of space for conferences, corporate team meetings, weddings, reunions, and catered events. Located in Gardner Village with its charming stone and timber buildings, intimate and elegant interiors, and beautiful outdoor garden, The Gathering Place is a unique, state-of-the-art facility with the capability to host groups from as small as 70 to up to 700. The full-service staff includes an Event Coordinator to oversee and ensure the success of each booking.

The culinary staff at The Gathering Place have created several extensive and exquisite menus of differing catering options for full-service events featuring mouth-watering classics such as Prime Rib Dinner, Pan Seared Salmon, and Chicken Florentine; all are served with a salad, freshly-baked sourdough bread, seasonal vegetable sides, and carefully crafted desserts of your choice. For those guests seeking a more tailored and unique catering experience, The Gathering Place also offers a variety of Savory Specialty Food Stations, including Sushi, Mexican, Pasta, Asian, Soup and Salad, Retro, Baked Potato, Milano, and Verona Stations. Also available are numerous Sweet Specialty Food Stations, including Chocolate, Crepe, Sundae, and Mini Desserts Stations. Buffet menus are also available for less formal events or flowing receptions. A cash bar or a hosted bar are also both available options for catered events.

Rooms available for booking at The Gathering Place include:

The Grand Ballroom, with seating for up to 400 guests at a mix of round tables and long banquet tables, making it ideal for large corporate gatherings or meetings as well as wedding receptions. Also available is a classroom or theater configuration for corporate team meetings or training with seating for from 150 to 400. Also available for rental for extra space for your event is the beautiful garden at The Gathering Place.

The East Room, with seating for 80 to 120 guests for banquet events and 44 to 140 for meetings, classroom training, or theater seating events, is located on the east side of the great hall of The Gathering Place.

The West Room, with seating for 80 to 120 guests for banquet events and 44 to 140 for meetings, classroom training, or theater seating events, is located next to the garden at The Gathering Place.

The Center Room, located in the center of the great hall of The Gathering Place, features seating for 70 to 120 for banquet events and 40 to 130 for meetings, classroom training, or theater seating events.
