In an upcoming issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, Kim Kardashian admits she was not always okay with having a baby out of wedlock. The reality star, who is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Kanye West while still legally married to second husband Kris Humphries, says she judged older sister Kourtney Kardashian for getting pregnant with her son Mason in 2009 despite not having any plans to wed boyfriend Scott Disick.
“I was like, ‘You’re not married! How could you do this?’ I was really firm and strict,” Kardashian admits. “But she was like, ‘Marriage isn’t what I want.’ And later, I realized she had a better family life than I did.”
In addition to Mason, Kourtney and Scott are parents to 7 month old daughter Penelope.
As for her own marriage plans, Kardashian says she is in no rush to tie the knot with West. “This is where I probably always should have been … [marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don’t have this sense of urgency about it,” she adds. “I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me.”
Us Weekly magazine reported earlier this week Kardashian and West are expecting a daughter. "Kanye always wanted a girl,” an insider revealed. "They're over the moon!"
The baby is due in July.
