Chicago Bears Super Bowl Loss Cost Man His Name
The Chicago Bears lost to the Indianapolis Colts 29-17 in this year’s Super Bowl and all it cost Scott Wiese was his name. Instead of putting his money where his mouth was the Forsyth, Illinois native opted to put his name there instead. So sure that his beloved Bears would beat the Colts Weise made the bet while slinging back a few beverages at a local bar.
After Sunday’s loss Scott Weise had one more day to enjoy being himself before heading down to the Macon County Courts Facility on Tuesday and beginning the process of becoming…..Peyton Manning.
Peyton Manning is of course the Super Bowl MVP from the Indianapolis Colts.
Speaking about the bet, the man formerly known as Scott Weise said "I think I kind of represent all Bears fans, not that I'm saying they're all idiots like me, but I represent their passion because I really care about my team, you know?"
