NFL News: Troy Polamalu Could Return to Starting Lineup for Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu could be ready to return to the starting lineup in time for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Polamalu has been out since suffering a medial collateral ligament tear in his left knee back in the Steelers opening game of the season. He has practiced the past two days with the team but his activities remain limited.

The five-time Pro Bowler has been the defensive leader for the Steelers since he debuted in 2003 and with him out of the lineup Pittsburgh has gone 1-2.
