Perez Hilton is a first time father! The openly gay celebrity blogger reveals he welcomed a son earlier this month. No other details on the baby’s birth, including the identity of his mother, were released. Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, has not revealed the baby’s name either.
In a statement on his website, Hilton says:

I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy - with lots of hair on his tiny head!
My family is overjoyed at this newest and most cherished addition.

The 34-year-old also posted a picture of himself holding his newborn son. After fans and celebrities congratulated him on Twitter, Hilton tweeted, “Overwhelmed by your sweet messages of support! I keep bursting out in tears of joy! THANK YOU for sending us so much love!”
“I can't stop crying! Every time someone Tweets me "Congrats Dad" or "Daddy" the tears just start streaming! #PoppaPerez,” he later added.
