The Oasis rocker who has his own clothing label, Pretty Green says his interest in fashion stems from his teenage years, which were heavily influenced by electronic music and trying to impress girls.
He said: I was into fashion from about 13. You want to look good if girls are involved. I was into the old tracksuits. I used to breakdance so I was into like Tacchini.
I used to go out with this girl called Gina Armitage, who was a beautiful lady she’s not alive anymore and we used to do breakdancing in town for money. I was good, but not as good as her.
The singer is now committed to his fashion line which he hopes to expand to include a line of furniture and art and says he will carry on designing for the rest of his life.
He added: If I’m into it, I’ll do it as long as I can. Clothes and music are the exact same for me. So I’ll be doing music until the day I die and I’ll be doing this until the day I die.
