College Basketball AP Top 25 Scoreboard Feb. 8

Memphis Tigers, Butler Bulldogs, and Nevada Wolf Pack continue to roll as Jeremy Hunt, Pete Campbell, and Nick Fazekas have huge games.

Jeremy Hunt scored 30 points and Joey Dorsey grabbed 13 rebounds as the #8 Memphis Tigers (20-3) beat the UAB Blazers (11-12) 70-56. The win moved the Tigers to 10-0 in Conference USA play. They managed to beat the Blazers despite shooting just 37 percent from the field

The #10 Butler Bulldogs (23-2) hit 20 three-pointers en rout to a 92-50 blowout of the Cleveland State Vikings (8-18). Pete Campbell scored 28 points on 10-13 shooting, 24 of his points came from beyond the arch. Butler built a 20 point lead at the half and continued to pour it on as they shot 64 percent from the floor on the night. Butler out-rebounded Cleveland State 30-13 and had 18 more assists than the Vikings.

Nick Fazekas scored 33 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the #12 Nevada Wolf Pack (22-2) beat the Fresno State Bulldogs (16-8) 81-68. Kyle Shiloh added 16 points and 9 rebounds while Denis Ikovlev added 14 points and 9 boards in the win. Nevada out-rebounded Fresno State 50-24 moving to 10-1 in the WAC.

The #13 Oregon Ducks (20-4) established a 12 point lead at halftime and then held on to beat the Arizona State Sun Devils (6-17) 55-51. Tajuan Porter scored 24 points for the Ducks and Malik Hairston added 8 points and 8 boards in the win. Oregon moved to 8-4 in the Pac 10, two games behind UCLA.

Kyle Weaver scored 12 points to lead a balanced attack by #14 Washington State Cougars (20-4)  in their 58-45 win over the Stanford Cardinals (15-7). Derrick Low added 12 points and Ivory Clark finished with 11 in the Pac 10 showdown. Washington State blocked 12 shots and held the Cardinals to just 28 percent shooting in the game.
