NBA Scores from Feb. 8; Rasheed Wallace, Tyson Chandler, and Kevin Martin lead their teams to wins.
Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points while Rasheed Wallace and Chris Webber each added 18 points and the Detroit Pistons (30-18) knocked off the visiting Los Angeles Lakers (30-20) 93-78. Wallace added 10 rebounds and Webber grabbed 11 boards in the win. Detroit built a 10 point lead at the break and held Kobe Bryant to just 5-13 shooting for 18 points.
Tyson Chandler had 11 points and 22 rebounds while David West added 21 points and grabbed 19 boards as the NO/Oklahoma City Hornets (23-27) beat the Milwaukee Bucks (19-31) 109-101 in double overtime. The Hornets pulled down 71 rebounds in the game compared to the 49 grabbed by the Bucks. Ruben Patterson scored 28 points and had 16 rebounds for Milwaukee.
Kevin Martin scored 29 points and Mike Bibby added 21 as the Sacramento Kings (21-26) beat the Chicago Bulls (28-22) 86-77. Brad Miller grabbed 12 rebounds and handed out 6 assists in the Kings win. Chicago struggled from the floor shooting just 33 percent on the night. Luol Deng finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Ben Wallace grabbed 13 boards in the loss.
