Justin Bieber Apologizes To Annoyed Fans For Delayed London Concert

Justin Bieber’s rocky visit London continued Monday with a delayed concert that had annoyed fans complaining about the singer’s tardiness. There are mixed reports on what time Bieber was supposed to hit the stage – some reports say 8:30, while London’s O2 area cited Bieber’s team as saying his set was scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Bieber himself later claimed it was 9:35. The 19-year-old didn’t hit the stage until nearly 10:30 p.m., and as a result had to cut down on songs.

Bieber took to Twitter on Tuesday to apologize to fans."Last night I was scheduled after three opening acts to go on stage at 9:35, not 8:30, but because of some technical issues I got on at 10:10. So I was 40 minutes late to the stage," he wrote. "There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was a great show and I'm proud of that."

The singer promised to start tonight’s show on time. "Tonight we will run on time and look forward to putting on an amazing show for everyone in attendance,” he continued.

“I'm all about the music and performance and I respect my fans. I never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. And I'm not okay with things being exaggerated,” Bieber added. “Once again sorry for anyone upset. Now we have a show to do today and I'm gonna focus on the positive and put on a grew show tonight here in London. Night 2 at the O2 is gonna be even better. Get ready. Thanks."

Over the weekend, Bieber battled criticism over rumors that he was celebrating his 19th birthday at a London nightclub with Will Smith’s underage son, 14-year-old Jaden. Bieber defended himself on Instagram with a solid black picture and the caption: “The funny moment when people believe I brought underage people to a club.. U think Will is letting his 14 year old in a club, I don't think so.”

He added: “2nd I love how the club wanted to give the press another reason to why we didn't stay at their weak ass club so they wouldn't look bad for me walking in and right back out..i said m "worst bday" but that was due to dummies pushing over my fans and being overly aggressive. Btw it wasn't the worst bday cuz all my friends from back home flew in I was just mad in the moment.”
