DevBridge Group, a Chicago web and mobile development company, has introduced a series of classes designed to help creative agencies, developers, and business owners leverage emerging technologies and embrace new opportunities. DevBridge Group President, Aurimas Adomavicius, curated the first DevBridge Academy class entitled “Extending Agency Capabilities” in late January. Says Adomavicius, “With a staff of over 50 engineers, we get to implement some of the newest technologies that have not yet reached mainstream. It seemed a shame if we didn’t share these developments with both our clients and partners.”
Classes at DevBridge Academy introduce concepts such as Responsive Web Design (RWD), Adaptive Design, Augmented Reality, deploying to the cloud, and more. Creative directors, account executives, business owners, and other Chicago professionals will leave each DevBridge Academy class with a clear understanding of the importance, the process, and the benefits associated with the given topic.
The next class at DevBridge Academy will be held on the evening of March 19, 2013 and is titled, “Extending Your Reach with Responsive Web Design”. This educational event will be an in-depth look at how Responsive Web Design addresses the growing need to cater online content to a variety of devices through a single website: from tablets, to smartphones, to desktop computers. The class will cover industry insights and trends, introduce a creative workflow for designing responsive websites, and include a technology workshop explaining the core mechanics of RWD.
