World Trader Coffee: Cameroon Boyo Coffee from Africa, One of the Best Coffees in the World

West African farmers are proud to produce Boyo arabica coffee, with its mellow flavor and rich full body which distinguishes this fine coffee from the rest of the African coffees. Grown in the nutrient rich soil of volcanos and with help from plenty of sunshine brings about one of the most glorious blossomings of coffee plants after the onset of the first rain. The secret to the Boyo’s distinctive flavor is the amount of sunshine which helps the beans reach their optimal sugar content faster. Grown in such ideal conditions, it is no wonder why this coffee is easily considered one of the world’s best coffees.

To understand how a coffee obtains this status, you must look at how it is grown. The Cameroon Boyo coffee, like all the other coffees featured at World Trader Coffee have very stringent rules that govern how coffee is grown. Additionally, all of the coffees sold by World Trader Coffee are grown in the most ideal conditions possible, especially the gourmet Cameroon Boyo coffee, which is grown in rich, dark volcanic soil and plenty of sunlight.

Boyo coffee is put through an all natural processing which starts and cultivation, goes through the harvest and finally selection of the most perfect beans. The need for herbicides and pesticides is eliminated by the strategy of spacing the coffee trees and growing other crops between them, effectively reducing the risk of infections. To further enrich the soil, farmers mix the coffee berry pulp with the soil around each tree after the de-pulping process.

The West African farmers put a lot of work and dedication into growing one of the world’s best coffees, and because of that, they produce one of the most flavorful and delicious coffees ever.
