Emperor, starring Matthew Fox, Tommy Lee Jones, Eriko Hatsune and Kaori Momoi, opens in theaters Friday, March 8. The drama focuses on the dilemma faced in American-occupied Japan at the end of WWII – should Emperor Hirohito be saved or hanged as a war criminal?
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 46 minutes and is rated PG 13 for violent content, brief strong language and smoking.
