Oryon Technologies Grows Through Marketing and Operational Achievements

Oryon Technologies, Inc. (OTCQBORYN) ("Oryon" or the "Company"), a developer and manufacturer of innovative next-generation, flexible, crushable, water-resistant and wearable lighting technology marketed under the Elastolite® brand, has announced a number of recent corporate initiatives.

New Digital Printing Process
Utilizing unique digital processes to provide enhanced color printing, the Company now provides even greater cost-effective solutions for high-resolution, digital-quality graphics on Elastolite electroluminescent lamps. With the implementation of its all-new digital-printing process, Oryon now prints custom digital quality images with lower minimums, higher resolution and shorter lead times.

"The addition of proprietary digital printing capabilities provides exactly what many of our customers are looking for," said Tom Schaeffer, President and CEO of Oryon. "It addresses rapid production times, increased profitability for customers and state-of-the-art, full-color reproduction. This is particularly valuable for our customers that produce branded products, such as headwear, bags, luggage, sportswear and outerwear."

Oryon to Sponsor the 2013 Smart Fabrics Conference
Oryon will be a major sponsor for the upcoming Smart Fabrics Conference to be held April 17-19, 2013 in San Francisco, Calif. (www.smartfabricsconference.com). At last year's conference, Oryon met with representatives from Nike, Apple, New Balance, Brooks, Raytheon, Adidas, Mustang Survival, NASA, Microsoft and many other Fortune 1000 companies.

"This is an exciting time for our company as we embark on a concentrated effort to showcase our enhanced Elastolite® technology," said Dan Gulden, Oryon's Vice President of Global Business Development. "We'll be meeting with many influential executives at this important conference. Anyone wishing to schedule one-on-one appointments with Oryon to discuss opportunities can email us at info@oryontech.com."

Agreement with Rebel Athletic
Oryon has entered into an agreement with Rebel Athletic (www.rebelathletic.com), an industry-leading manufacturer of custom and couture cheerleading uniforms and apparel, for exclusive representation to the cheerleading and dance industries in the U.S., Japan and Australia. Elastolite will be featured on the uniforms of two Rebel Athletic-sponsored teams at the upcoming World Cheerleading Competition to be held April 25-26 in Orlando, Fla.

Karen Noseff Aldridge, President of Rebel Athletic, looks forward to being the first in her industry to introduce lighted technology to cheerleading competition, "We are delighted to have partnered with Oryon and to be able to introduce Elastolite," she said. "We expect this cutting-edge technology to be well received in our industry, and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with the team at Oryon."

"Rebel Athletic is clearly a product innovator," said Schaeffer. "The management team focuses on quality, customer service, and providing innovative solutions to a competitive industry. We are pleased Oryon can provide their products with even greater visibility."

Expanded Manufacturing Capabilities
In related news, Oryon also announced plans to expand printing capacity through a relationship with Aluma Graphics (www.alumagraphics.com). Aluma Graphics is an ISO 9001:2008 facility with an established track record in commercial and industrial print applications. The arrangement allows Oryon to expand its printing capacity by a factor of four (4X), virtually immediately.

"We evaluated many facilities, both foreign and domestic," Schaeffer said. "It was pure good fortune for us that Aluma Graphics happens to be located less than 30 miles from our manufacturing facility. From an operational perspective, they became our top choice based on their technical expertise, long history of excellent customer service and keen understanding of our proprietary printing processes."

Bill Smith, Vice President of Sales for Aluma Graphics, said, "Aluma Graphics is excited to be working with Oryon, as we believe our affiliation is a perfect fit. We have the technical skill and experience, and they deliver a product that has so many possibilities across so many markets. We anticipate a mutually beneficial long-term relationship."
