The Monk, starring Vincent Cassel, Déborah François, Joséphine Japy, Sergi López and Geraldine Chaplin, opens in theaters Friday, March 8. The French thriller focuses on a beloved 17th century Spanish monk who is lead down a path of sin with the arrival of a mysterious apprentice.
The film has a runtime of 1 hour 41 minutes and is rated R for brief graphic nudity, violent images and some sexuality.
