General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) Receives Contract from U.S. Army for 352 Additional Stryker Vehicles

 

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has received a contract to supply 352 Stryker vehicles from the U.S. Army. General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) will supply the vehicles to the Army's TACOM Lifecycle Management Command. Production on the vehicles will take place in Anniston, Alabama; Sterling Heights, Michigan; Lima, Ohio; and London, Ontario, Canada with deliveries dates starting in July 2010. The Stryker program contract was initially awarded to GD in 2000. They have already delivered 2,988 vehicles and trained 18,438 soldiers in their operation.
