Tom Bonkenburg will present a keynote presentation on how robotics will impact the world of warehousing, logistics, distribution and material handling at Supply Chain World North America, April 8 to 10, 2013 at the Hilton St.Louis at the Ballpark in St.Louis, MO.
His presentation, “A Look In the Future: Robotic Supply Chains," examines the changing role of robotics in warehousing and distribution and is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, from 4:40 to 5:30 p.m.
“Coming developments in the world of robotics, in particular, a dramatic drop in the cost of robots, is an important element that no one can afford to ignore if they are involved in the supply chain industry,” says Bonkenburg. “My goal is to provide the audience with a timely update on what is occurring in the field of robotics and how new technology might help them improve their businesses.”
Bonkenburg will share:
Robotics Update. Update on robotics research and development, offering a peek into what we can expect in the near-term.
Preparing for the future. Preparing for the robotics revolution. Robotics will make an impact whether or not those working in the supply chain industry are ready.
