The Duggar family is about to add another child to the mix. Josh Duggar, oldest of the Duggar children, is expecting his third child with wife Anna in about 3 months.
"Josh and Anna are great parents. It is neat to see their family expanding. I remember those days when Michelle and I went from one to three because we had Josh and then we had twins. It is a great start,” dad Jim Bob Duggar tells People magazine.
Josh, 25, and Anna, 24, are parents to daughter Mackynzie, 3, and son Michael, 1.
"It is very exciting. It's fun for Michael and Mackynzie being so close in age and this baby will be, too. We feel very blessed and happy,” Josh says.
The couple knows the baby’s gender and has narrowed down name choices to two, but they are aren’t revealing those details right now. "We've been throwing around name ideas and we are pretty certain we have it down to two," Josh adds. "We will have to see."
Jim Bob, 47, Michelle, 46, and their 18 other children are looking forward to welcoming the new addition. "Being a grandpa is really special because Josh and Anna live only eight miles away and our kids and their kids almost consider themselves brothers and sisters," Jim Bob says. "They love playing together."
