Rise of the Guardians: starring Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman, Jude Law, Alec Baldwin, Isla Fisher and Dakota Goyo. The animated family film tells the story of how children’s heroes like the Easter Bunny and Santa band together to stop an evil spirit from destroying the innocence of children all around the world. Rated PG

Life of Pi: starring Suraj Sharma, Irfan Khan, Tabu, Rafe Spall and Gérard Depardieu. The action/adventure film follows a young Indian boy who is thrust into the adventure of a lifetime when a shipwreck sets him adrift with a Bengal tiger. Rated: PG

Hitchcock: starring Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel and James D'Arcy. The drama follows Alfred Hitchcock as he faces challenges in the making of 1959’s Psycho. Rated PG 13

This Must Be The Place: starring Sean Penn, Frances McDormand, Judd Hirsch, Eve Hewson, Kerry Condon, Harry Dean Stanton and Joyce Van Patten. The comedy/drama follows a 50-year-old former rock star as he seeks revenge against the Nazi responsible for humiliating his father in a concentration camp. Rated: R

Sound City: starring Trent Reznor, Tom Petty, Mick Fleetwood, John Fogerty and Lindsey Buckingham. The documentary tells the story of the celebrated Sound City recording studio in Van Nuys, California. Not Rated

Cirque du Soleil – World’s Away: starring Igor Zaripov, Erica Kathleen Linz and Lutz Halbhubner. The musical/performing arts film follows two young people as they travel through the worlds of Cirque du Soleil to find each other. Not Rated

The First Time: starring Britt Robertson, Dylan O'Brien, Victoria Justice, Craig Roberts and James Frecheville. The romantic comedy tells the story of two high school students falling in love for the first time. Rated PG 13

Spiders: starring William Hope, Shelly Varod, Christa Campbell and Patrick Muldoon. The thriller centers on a new species of poisonous spider that is able to mutate to huge sizes. The creatures invade New York City. Rated PG 13
