Alliance Benefit Group Financial Services, Corp. Named Finalist for 2013 Top Retirement Plan Adviser Team

PLANSPONSOR announces Alliance Benefit Group Financial Services, Corp. (ABGFS) as finalist for annual Retirement Plan Adviser of the Year in the multi-office category.

PLANSPONSOR has announced three finalists for the 2013 Plan Adviser of the Year award in the category of multi-office team. Among the top three is Alliance Benefit Group Financial Services, Corp. (ABGFS).

The multi-office category is defined as a group of two or more advisers across multiple office locations that share support staff and follow the same guidelines and procedures to serve clients. ABGFS is headquartered in Albert Lea, Minnesota with additional offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Des Moines, Iowa, and Kansas City, Missouri.

The finalists were drawn from a pool of more than 400 nominations. ABGFS Chief Executive Officer, Brad Arends, said of the finalist news, "We are honored to be in the top three. We have put together a great team and deliver service to not only plan sponsors, but also to plan participants. Our service model of focusing on successful participant outcomes through effective plan design, building a suite of asset allocation tools, and robust participant education and advice is working."

The finalists will be recognized at the annual PLANSPONSOR/PLANADVISER Awards for Excellence dinner March 27, 2013 in New York City. The winner will be named at the annual PLANADVISER National Conference in September in Orlando, Florida.
