Miami Heat top San Antonio Spurs 100 to 85

The Heat closed down the Spurs in the 4th quarter holding the Spurs without a field goal for over 7 minutes. The Heat were able to rest Shaq after pulling away from San Antonio resting Shaq, who played only 25 minutes. Shaq in limited time put up strong numbers shooting 7 of 11 from the field scoring a total of 16 points and adding 7 rebounds. Antoine Walker and Eddie Jones who was picked up from Memphis recently added 22 points combined off the bench. Jones who played for Miami previously looked like he never left.

The San Antonio Spurs ended their road trip in Miami with a a loss dropping to 33 wins and 18 losses. Manu Ginobili led the Spurs off the bench with 26 points and was electrifying sparking the Spurs with much needed energy but his teamates fell short.

The Spurs shot poorly from the line going 11 for 20. Tim Duncan did not have one of his typical performances shooting 40% from the field(4 for 10) and 5 for 11 from the line. Duncan did grab 11 rebounds, and Tony Parker added 20 points along with 5 assists.
