The new Dixio Desktop Classic translates complete texts and enriches your library with new dictionaries
The Classic version has a new user interface, translation of complete texts, images in search results and new dictionaries to enrich your library.
1. Better usability
Dixio Desktop Classic has a new,
much clearer design, with better usability to enhance your search results
experience with definitions, translations, text translations and images.
2. Translation of complete texts
With the new Dixio Desktop Classic you will be able to translate complete texts into 8 different languages by just clicking on the “Text translation” tab".
How I can translate a text with Dixio Desktop Classic?
To translate a complete text, you
can copy a text, from the web for instance, and paste it in the first DixioDesktop Classic text box (leave automatic mode on the first dropdown list) Then
specify the language you desire, such as Russian.
Click on the "Translate" button and the translated text will automatically be displayed beneath the original.
3. Search images
As well as precise definitions and
translations, Dixio Desktop Classic provides images of your search results. For
instance, if you look up " hickory" in Dixio the
definition is: "American hardwood tree bearing edible nuts"
In the "Images" section, and as the first search result, will be a picture of a " hickory " tree.
4. The best dictionaries to enrich your vocabulary
As well as precise definitions and translations, with Dixio Desktop Classic you will have access to other dictionaries that will help to improve and enrich your vocabulary, dictionaries such as WordNet, Diccionario de uso del español actual Clave, by Ediciones SM, Webster's Unabridged Dictionary, Bouvier's Law Dictionary, Diccionario Básico de Español, Tesauro Español... and up to 60 more.
