Miranda Kerr is thankful for those who wished her well following a car accident on Monday that left her with minor neck injuries. The Victoria’s Secret model tweeted her appreciation on Wednesday.
"Thanks for all the messages of support, I'm on the mend!" she wrote.
The accident happened Monday in Los Angeles. According to Kerr’s rep, the model was traveling on a freeway with her assistant when they were rear-ended by another vehicle. She reportedly underwent an MRI and is currently wearing a neck brace. She was spotted in L.A. on Tuesday wearing a scarf over the brace.
"She is in a lot of pain but really, we are just glad that it was not more serious," Kerr’s spokeswoman Annie Kelly said.
Kelly said Kerr’s 2-year-old son Flynn and husband Orlando Bloom were not in the car at the time of the accident. “He's taking very good care of her. He's an amazing husband," Kelly said of Bloom. "Luckily, Flynn wasn't in the car.”
The driver of the other car involved in the accident has not been identified, but he or she may reportedly face charges of reckless driving. No other details were available
