It’s been a big week for The Bachelor – the engagement of Sean Lowe and Catherine Guidici was announced, and now the arrival of a Bachelor baby has been confirmed. Season 13 couple Jason and Molly Mesnick welcomed their first child together on Thursday. Riley Anne was born in Seattle, Washington weighing 6 lbs., 8 oz. and measuring 18 3/4 inches long.
“What’s amazing to me is when Molly is holding Riley, her eyes do not come off her. I’m already seeing how much Molly loves the baby,” Jason tells People magazine.
Riley joins the 36-year-old’s son Tyler from his previous marriage. “Ty has been asking for a sibling for so long,” says Jason. “He was here earlier holding her and kissing her and it was really, really cute. We’re so happy.”
As for Riley, Jason reveals she already has “a full head of hair.”
Molly’s pregnancy was announced last October. Jason and Molly met on The Bachelor in 2008, but Jason ended up proposing to finalist Melissa Rycroft. He later split from Melissa and asked Molly for another chance. They were married in February 2010.
